November 1st is Hello Kitty’s Birthday! Although she never ages, she still knows how to throw a party 🙂
Bubble Punch came incognito in Lolita clothing at the party! (Thanks to Robin for the pic!) A lot of Sanrio staff and artists didn't recognize us.. mwuahah!
The morning kicked off with a tasty Hello Kitty Birthday Brunch, followed by three workshops that were completely full! Hosted by Gary Baseman, Buff Monster, and Sushi Girl, respectively, these workshops were definitely a hit.
Gary Baseman (front, center in hat) poses with students and models after his drawing class. Mandy from zippercut (left, red wig) and Ari (right, pink wig) posed for Baseman's sketch. (Thank you Kim for the photo!)
Gary Baseman's finished sketch featuring two cute Lolitas 🙂 (Thanks for this pic, too, Kim!)
As the party drew to a close, the LA Ladies Choir serenaded Ms. Kitty by singing Happy Birthday to her!
Bubble Punch stopped by to say hi to the birthday girl as well as a bunch of our friends we haven’t seen in a while! Take a look at the pics below the jump!
Robin in her handmade hat she created especially for Kitty's birthday!
So many cuties helped out at the party! We also got a chance to actually take photos of the exhibit this time, since it wasn’t wall-to-wall people as there were last time….! Take a gander!
Our adorable Lolita pals, Olivia, Kim, Ari, Robin, and Andrew worked at the event
This diva was working it next to the pint-sized Hello Kitty house!
