Even though some of you may scoff, Disneyland really is one of the most magical places on earth for us here at Bubble Punch!
Perhaps it’s because we’re both complete saps, but we’ve been amped about seeing the sparkly Christmas décor at Disneyland for months! And, as anticipated, we both CRIED A LOT during the day because we were so moved by the awesomeness. TEARS OF JOY (Here’s a fun game: Try to count how many times we mention we cry during the course of our Disney trip haha).
Last Sunday we headed out with some of our awesome friends to see the sights… and, of course, as always, we planned a themed dress up day for the occasion. Whenever we can, we try to organize fun clothing-themed outings to Disneyland with our friends. It’s one of the few ways you can really make the happiest place on earth even happier!
This time, we decided to theme the day with CHRISTMAS GARB!
The seasonal Christmas parade down Main Street was really adorable, and had all of our favorite characters dancing around to a holiday beat, haha. We felt a little sorry for the elves, because whoever did their makeup apparently wanted them all to look like they were pushing 50 (red lips, red cheeks, heavey eyeliner, and blue eye shadow. YIKES!) but other than that it was all pretty magical! Mickey and Minnie were at the end of the parade actually ICE SKATING on top of their float.
In addition to all the beautiful Christmas décor, we got to see Disneyland’s new show they installed to celebrate The Princess and The Frog movie! It was really cute… we were lucky enough to see an advanced screening of the movie two weeks ago, (almost a month before the release date! Lucky!) and the show and characters are a really cute complement to the movie! Also, embarrassingly enough, Prince Naveen is… the hottest prince Disney has ever produced. LOOK AT THIS GUY.
The It’s a Small World ride also transformed into the best holiday ride ever! We really recommend everyone who can to go on it… the line moves super quick even if it’s around the entire area of the park, haha. Every 15 minutes, the lights on front of the ride shut off and a holiday projection show is shown on the front of it, in time a fun mix of holiday music! The inside of the ride was also revamped for Christmas cheer to be had all over the world. We’re not going to lie; we CRIED BUCKETS because it was amazing.
The special holiday fireworks were also incredibly magical! our favorite part was the snowfall at the end.. nothing like fake snow bubbles to make it Christmas-y in California!!

Happy Holidays everyone! (And don’t be fooled into thinking this it the last holiday-related post you’ll see from us! MWUA HA HA!)
